WHO ARE WE?
Troop 982 is a girl led troop chartered by the Circle Ten Council and operating in Prosper, Texas. We also have an affiliation agreement with Prosper United Methodist Church. The Troop meets every Monday at 7 p.m. on private property at the Collinsbrook Canoe Club. The CCC is a shared private land, where we host our troop meetings. We sometimes meet at Prosper United Methodist Church.
We hold a special Arrow of Light Crossover to Scouts BSA in a unique ceremony held on March 2, 2026. While we meet weekly, we also have a monthly campout or activity. In addition to campouts we also have an annual team building lock-in, pool
parties, summer camp, and more.
Highlights from past years include:
- Summer camp at Rockefeller (Arkansas), Hale Scout Reservation
(Oklahoma), Kia Kima Scout Reservation (Arkansas), and
Camp Alexander (Colorado) - High adventure Camp at Philmont Scout Ranch (New Mexico)
- Monthly campouts at Texas State Parks and BSA Scout Camps
